    Endodontist

    Dr. A. Scott Cohen is fluent in Japanese, Spanish and has a basic knowledge of Russian and American Sign Language. He is an avid skier, and he enjoys tennis, scuba diving, running, and photography. Dr. Cohen has 4 children, Mia, Zachary, Skylar, and new baby Shayna. His wife, Siena, speaks four languages. For patients who prefer additional comfort during treatment, Dr. Cohen is trained to administer sedation in the form of nitrous oxide sedation or oral sedation. Dr. Cohen is a board-certified endodontist. He became a Diplomat of the American Board of Endodontics in 2000. He has been an assistant clinical professor at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry since 1995.

  • Ella T. Lim

    Endodontist

    Dr. Lim is originally from Myanmar, formerly Burma, and is fluent in Burmese and English, while also having basic skills in Mandarin. She received a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from UC San Diego. Following that, she completed dental school at New York University. Upon graduation, she joined the US Navy. She received an AEGD from Camp Pendleton along with the Navy Achievement Medal in 2013 and 2016. After five years of service in the Navy, she went to the University of the Pacific for her specialty training in endodontics. She was working in private practice as an endodontist for the past two years. She is an outstanding doctor and a caring endodontist. We are honored to welcome her to Golden State Endodontics. Dr. Lim and her family will be moving to East Bay from their current home in San Francisco. They have one son who will be starting first grade this year. He is full of energy and keeps Dr. Lim on her toes.
